Contracting & Credentialing

The patients are coming, but that doesn’t mean that you’re making money. Not unless you’ve taken the necessary steps to negotiate your managed care contracts.

If you’ve waited till opening day to arrange for credentialing and contracting, then you will most certainly be in for a big surprise when you submit the claims for the patient’s visits.

Typically, credentialing your providers along with beginning the MCO negotiation process takes about six months from start to finish.  Even when the process goes smoothly, you may encounter certain “landmines” that can seriously hamper your reimbursement.

We can help you avoid these common contractual pitfalls and help maximize the fee schedule and reimbursement that the managed care companies will offer you.
